The inflatable Clean Tent is a new and innovative design that was created for clean room technology. It was made for people that need a temporary clean room space that is portable for on the site jobs. It provides space that most users will need at a low cost.
How It Is Made
The Clean Tent has a ground sheet that is made using anti-static reinforced Tryolla and 150mm skirts. This helps to make it tough and durable. The top is made with one piece and is attached by a zipper. In order to keep a clean environment it needs to compartments.
The first compartment is an entry airlock room with double zippers for putting on and taking off robes and other gear. The main work area is contained inside of a high quality PVC cabin. The positive pressure and a constant supply of clean air is created by fans that are mounted to the cabin wall.
Filtration
There are a number of different filtration options that can be used depending on what the tent is for. The 40 micron pre-filter and 12 volt DC fans provide total portability, the Class 100 HEPA filter system will turn a portion of the work area into a quality laminar flow work station.
Any system that is used will work on a horizontal laminar flow system. This means that the exhausting extends through a user controlled vent that is in the work cabin entrance and back out through the air lock. This design will make sure that the cabin is pressurized in respect to the airlock – which has a higher pressure of the ambient air.
Installation
To install simply roll out the ground sheet and position it in the location you want it. Roll out the tent and attach the zipper to the ground sheet. Pull the zipper around the skirt of the ground sheet and turn the air system on to inflate. It takes only seven minutes for the fan system to blow it up. It comes with GRP poles to secure it.
