Camping is something that many people enjoy to do. The most important supply to bring with you when camping is the tent. Some of the easiest types that you can use are inflatable camping tents. We have provided reviews on two of the more common brands of inflatable camping tents in both the small and large sizes.
Inflatable NEMO 1 Person Tents
This is possibly the smallest sized inflatable camping tent that you will find. When it is inflated it is 10 feet lengthwise giving you enough space for you to sleep and to store all off your gear. It weighs 2 pounds, 2 ounces and is 27 inches high. This particular type has only enough room for one person to sleep inside comfortably.
It uses an air beam rather then a pole to support the weight of the tent and to keep it up, making it easier for you to pack it up and carry it around with you. Also the air beam has been tested to withstand against higher winds because of the added strength it provides.
It comes available with an integrated air pump that will inflate the tent in only seconds and because it weighs 4 ounces you can pack it easily with your supplies. It is made with OSMO 40 denier polyester and hydrophilic TPU lamination that helps to make it waterproof. These come with a waterproof sack to store the tent inside of, stakes, and a repair kit. This particular sized inflatable camping tent will cost anywhere between $250 to $300. NEMO also provides 2 to 3 person tents.
Inflatable AirZone 4 Person Tents
The AirZone 4 person tent is designed for people to sleep in the same area and save money on purchasing separate tents. The tent weighs 16 pounds, the floor is 9’x7’and the height of the tent is 64”. the body of the tent has been made with polyester and mesh that will protect the occupants from rain and wind. It also has PVC windows to allow people to see out and sunlight to stream in.
It comes with pnuematic air poles that help to support it and can be easily zipped on and off the tent for easy installation. Although it comes available with a spare pole in case one is damaged, it can still hold up with just one that will last you through the rest of the day or night. Because these poles are inflated and not rigid you can easily store this tent in your car or boat.
To inflate the tent you can use 12 volt air compressors, air tanks, CO2 dispensers, or even a simple bicycle pump. In many cases no pump is included when you purchase this tent. This will cost between $500 to $600. AirZone also provides 1 to 2 person tents.
